Twin Eagles offers two well-stocked fishing lakes.
Scenic 3.6-acre lake graces the estate grounds of the main house, complete with lighted fishing dock and two solar-powered feeders.  In addition, a 9-acre lake on the west side of the plantation offers excellent fishing and the opportunity to observe alligators and other wildlife in their natural wilderness habitat

Whitetail Deer
A diverse expanse of upland pine and cypress bottomland supports a prolific population of whitetail deer.
Intensive management for quail has produced excellent wild turkey hunting from March until mid-May.
The 6-acre dove field with power line running through it offers sporty shooting mid-September until early January.
Wood Ducks
Twin Eagles' duck ponds attract not only homegrown wood ducks but also migrants from all over the eastern United States and Canada.  Wood ducks banded as far away as Ohio have been harvested.
Wild Boar
Wild boar hunting is available throughout the year.  Some of the largest Russian boar in the US can be found in South Georgia.

Hunting & Fishing

The brick and wrought iron entrance is equipped with a DoorKing electronic gate entry system.  Mature Leyland cypresses border the property and giant magnolias grace the grounds.  A charming river rock driveway winds through tall pines and a lush lawn to the residence, located 500 feet from the road.

Nine acres of professionally landscaped grounds are kept beautiful with a commercial-grade irrigation system.  Three dedicated wells serve the estate grounds. Low-voltage landscape lighting gives a welcoming ambience to the house and grounds at night and provides security.

Beyond the manicured grounds and 3.6-acre lake, a quaint bridge crosses Dry Branch Creek, leading to more than 3 miles of beautiful walking trails through whispering pines, moss-draped live oaks and duck ponds.

Estate Grounds and Wildlife

The five-bedroom residence is designed with exquisite architectural detail and period style.  Fine finishes have been selected throughout, including floors and cabinetry hand-crafted from antique heart pine.

An historic feel blends with modern features such as high-speed internet, state-of-the-art sound system, water purification system, multi-zone climate control and security features.

With more than 3,800 square feet in the main house, 1,000 square-foot carriage house apartment space and 1,000 square feet of sweeping porches, Twin Eagles is perfect for gracious entertaining.

All architectural elements such as columns, millwork and shutters are period correct.  Fireplaces, chandeliers and decorative features are 17th to early 20th-century European elements that once graced fine historic homes across the South.  Furnishings, art and collectibles throughout the residence are predominantly European and Asian antiques ranging from mid-17th century to late 19th century.

Thoughtful interior design combines period furnishings with the conveniences of today's luxury homes, including commercial-grade kitchen appliances, copper countertops, and large en-suite baths, and marble and granite surfaces throughout.
